applying
• all celebrities are welcome as long as they have a reasonable claim to fame. family members and significant others will not be permitted. if you are unsure if your desired role will be allowed into the community, feel free to consult the dropbox.
• aim is optional! we understand that not everyone is comfortable interacting over aim. you are more than welcome to use customs. if you choose to apply without a screenname, please provide us with a screened post we can link on the taken list.
• when applying, please provide us with either examples or a first post. examples must include, at minimum, one update example and one scene example. first posts can consist of anything you think your chosen celebrity would write about, so as long as it meets the word limit. please see the next section regarding the word limit.
• challenges will be assessed on examples, but you are more than welcome to supplement them with a first post in the event that you are challenged. please note that we will only allow two challenges per role.
• journals and screennames must pertain to your role.
• when you are ready to apply, please add the mod journal to your friends list, request membership, and have a recent friends only post included in your journal.
• if you are for any reason rejected from the community and would like to know why, please feel free to ask in the dropbox. we'll be sure to answer any and all questions in a timely manner.

buenos. if you do not post an introduction, your role will be up for override and you will be removed with the next set of removals.
• updates will be required every three weeks, and will be held to a 500 word limit. one-liners and placeholders will not be permitted. we will not remove you if you are a few words short of the word limit, but please do your best to meet it.
• if for any reason you are unable to update in time, an extension can be granted. extensions will have a one-week grace period. we understand you have other obligations outside of the community and will be loose when it comes to granting extensions so as long as the privilege isn't abused every update cycle. hiatuses will also be granted to any member who needs more than a week away from the community. please note that while we allow activity with extensions, we prohibit it entirely in the event of a hiatus. this means you cannot be signed onto aim, nor can you post anywhere. violation of this rule will result in a formal warning.
• the sub-communities are there for your convenience! we wholeheartedly encourage participation within them. we will also be incorporating a mandatory buddy group system to encourage interaction between members that may not otherwise interact with one another. we know how difficult it is to dip your feet into the proverbial interactive pool sometimes, so we figured a starting point would be helpful. game tournaments and friendly friday posts will also take place here and there.
